Security & Privacy

Connecting your revenue accounts to a new app should never feel risky. Here’s exactly what Aperio can — and can’t — do with your data, in plain language.

Verified by Google

Verified by Google

Aperio has passed Google’s OAuth app verification. Before an app is allowed to request access to your Google account, Google reviews it directly — checking that it only asks for the permissions it genuinely needs, confirming who operates the app, and verifying ownership of its domains.

In plain terms: an independent review by Google has confirmed that Aperio requests only  read-only access to your revenue data and handles it exactly the way this page describes. It’s not a claim we make about ourselves — it’s a check Google performed before letting you connect.

Read-only access — we can’t touch your money

When you connect a platform, Aperio requests read-onlyaccess and nothing more. That isn’t just a promise — it’s the only level of permission we ask each platform for. It means Aperio technically cannot:

  • Move, transfer, or withdraw funds
  • Change your payout, billing, or bank details
  • Place orders, issue refunds, or change prices
  • Post, publish, or delete anything on your accounts
  • Change any setting on a connected platform

All Aperio can do is read the revenue and performance numbersneeded to build your dashboards. Even if someone got into your Aperio account, they still couldn’t move a cent — the connection simply doesn’t allow it.

We never sell your data — or train AI on it

  • We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
  • We do not use your data to train generalized AI or ML models.
  • We use your data for one thing only: showing you your own dashboards.

How your connection is secured

Access tokens, refresh tokens, and API keys are stored on our servers, handled only by our backend, and never exposed to other users. We apply access controls and ownership checks so your data is only ever accessible to you.

You’re always in control

  • Disconnect any platform in one tap, right inside the app — this immediately stops all further data access.
  • Revoke Google access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Delete your account and data whenever you choose.

Deleting your account

You can delete your Aperio account at any time, directly from the App. Open the side menu, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.

The “Delete Account” button is at the bottom of the Settings screen.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.Deleting your account removes your profile, every connected platform and its tokens/API keys, and all of your stored revenue history — there is no way to recover your data afterwards.

Prefer we do it for you? Email us at privacy@get-aperio.com and we’ll delete your account on your behalf. For the full detail, see Deleting your account in our Privacy Policy.
